I was just listening to Violator. When I’m producing music (mainly in a set of more than 1 song), and I find a cool sound, I over use it about 1000 too many times. Listening to Depeche Mode is a great example of a production well done. There are so many cool sounds that if I found, I’d over use like 1000 times but it just comes, it’s subtle and it comes once. It sound so damn cool! Oh where do these sounds come from??? Very well done album and lots of cool sounds. That beat in Halo. OH! BABY!
Yeah, random thought but interesting all the same.
